I never cared for the music video since it looked like an advertisement, and the subtitles in the YouTube clip aren't helping so it's best to just listen. No watching required.
This should be recited at both high school and college commencement. Seriously.

I Spy: Anthropologie...
again.
I will admit (if the constant presence on this blog wasn't enough proof) to having a slight affection for Anthropologie - flaws and all.
Don't act all shock by that last tidbit.
Be real: the prices are ridic for the quality of clothing and you can locate some of the shoes at different retailers, sometimes, with a lower price but almost always better shipping policies. But, one of the biggest hypocrisies of the retailer is its boutique/flea market appeal. It's corporate owned. I mean, really? Yet knowing all of this, I still shop there because they have cute/interesting stuff -- but in the sale section 90% of the time which means I stalk the site like a hawk because too many consumers buy into the hype and pay full price. Bah!! This leads me to recognizing too much of their inventory.
See:

I would have never considered getting this dress since it's strapless and rayon while I'm uber busty and well, you know, but after seeing it in these next two e-shoots it may find a way on my sale wish list.

I may be wrong on this but this tank looks like the Necklace Tank (it's on sale now).

I think Anthroplogie should commission Stephanie Williams to shoot their catalogs. Seriously.

My Wallet Is Thankful
I just received a price adjustment for these shoes:

Purchased on Tuesday (sales, yo!) for $139.00 down from $198.00 (I was desperate. Needed some kicks for a wedding next week). The new price? $59.95. Yes, even the customer service rep was taken aback the steep price drop.

Oh My Goodness!
Good things really do come to those who wait.
Galaxy of Dots Dress

This dress has been on my wish list forever yet I never removed it in the hope that someone would return it. Today was the day. Squee!

Sniff Sniff
Dude, Saipua + Nicolette Camille and housemartin are both holding floral workshops this season.

If there was one DIY project that I would have eagerly (and ambitiously) done for the wedding, it would have been the flowers.

Serious jealousy for anyone able to take part.

I think a trip to the LA Flower Mart awaits me tomorrow...

I Spy: Anthropologie
In another attempt to hold off recapping the wedding, I have decided to combine wedding-related randomness with...
Anthropologie.
One thing that comes up often in many bride-to-be wedding blogs - the consumption of new dresses. These said dresses are almost always from Anthropologie and pop up in engagement sessions quite often:
Bold Boutonniere Dress
This dress is so unique that it was backordered on the site for a period of time. I tried on the black/plum version and sadly, the chest area was a total bust (no pun intended).
Walk-A-Ways Dress
I own the orange sibling to this dress. The green version featured below sold out fairly quickly.

Slice-of-Lime Dress
Honestly, the only reason this dress was on my wish list was for the polka-dots. I love me some polka-dots.
Musings Dress
This dress is fairly plain yet I still recognized it. With that said, the gray color looks gorgeous. It probably would have helped to post a color picture but that's what the link is for (besides the credit factor).

Wavelet Blouse
Not all girls rock just the dresses from Anthro. Some do tops too.

Behind-the-Clouds Dress
We have some history. I ordered this dress online in hopes for my own e-session this past spring and sadly, it did not work out. Fiddle-dee-dee. However, seeing it on two far luckier girls made me green in envy.

Gawd, that dress could have been part of a polka-dot trifecta (e-session, rehearsal dinner, and wedding gown).
well, assuming I would have found a polka-dot dress for the rehearsal.
Now look who is showing up in weddings too.

It still haunts me.
Bungalow Gables Dress
I was really surprised to see this dress in a wedding but I shouldn't have considering grey and yellow were the cat's meow for wedding colors this season. Plus, it's on sale but strangely it is not on the sale page. (Yes, I own this dress in the yellow, thank you very much.)

So what was the point of this post? Besides displaying my trolling habits on Anthropologie's site, I need my groove my back.
