March (Since It's Almost Over)

Sigh, I just knew I messed up yesterday by not writing this post when I was wired thanks to a late afternoon coffee and a cookie. The coffee this morning did not do the trick -- I had 2 cups. My intended March post was going to focus on what I did last month: how busy I was and the unexpected surprises that came; how Z got older; how our relationship grew older; but my coffee stimulant hasn’t yet set in. I’ll probably return to that story later as I go back to researching, designing, crunching, catching up--rinse and repeat.

With that said, here are a bunch of images of the bouquet I made last week, cause I love it a lot. I had never used protea before. Always wanted to but usually couldn’t work it into an arrangement idea that I had going. I just loved the combination of the ranunculus (I seriously love these flowers) and sweet pea (which had its killer scent that sadly I have found absent).

Oh and yes, that’s me holding the bouquet wearing the same (ill fitted thanks to weight loss!) outfit I wore to the flower mart. I was tired that day.
